TSCTI's Hazard and Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) is a systematic process used to identify and evaluate potential hazards, threats, and vulnerabilities within a specific environment, such as a community, facility, organization, or region. The goal of an HVA is to assess risks and vulnerabilities associated with various hazards, both natural and man-made, in order to develop strategies for mitigating their potential impact and enhancing preparedness.

By identifying and prioritizing risks, the HVA aids in reducing potential disruptions to our operations and mitigating harm. Hazards and vulnerabilities are systematically identified, covering a spectrum from natural disasters to technological failures. Regular monitoring ensures that the organization's preparedness aligns with evolving risks, while analysis contributes to refining mitigation strategies. The creation of realistic risk scenarios aids in evaluating the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
